The Prieuré du Vieux-Logis is a Nice museum with a collection of medieval religious art and a collection of everyday objects and furnishings dating from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century. Inaugurated in 1939, it is an ancient mill that has undergone several enlargements over time, until it assumed its current form. Thirteen rooms can be visited including on the ground floor, a dining room, a Gothic room, a bedroom with Renaissance furniture and a kitchen furnished with splendid furniture and utensils from different eras. Upstairs are the chapel, the oratory, the sacristy and a bedroom. There are not only works of art but also everyday objects that make this museum a living evocation of the past. Among the most emblematic objects of this museum is a splendid Flemish Pieta from the 15th century. The pleasant ancient garden enriches the visit of this house.
