The Terra Amata Museum of Prehistory is located on the remains of the excavations of the homonymous archaeological site, which has returned the oldest archaeological sites in human history, dating back to 400,000 years ago. Since 2016, the museum itinerary has been updated and renewed to present the latest discoveries and offer visitors a new interactive and playful itinerary. This new presentation exposes and shows the life of the first Nice people within their environment, as well as the first great revolution of humanity: the taming of fire.
