The MeMus - Museum and Historical Archive of the San Carlo Theater is located in the premises of the historic San Carlo Theater in the historic center of Naples . The Museum was born in 2011 not as a traditional museum, but as a real research, study and testimony center .

MeMus is responsible for sharing the history of its heritage through the opening to the public of the paper archive consisting of documents, paintings, vintage prints, photos and musical instruments .
