“MUSAP - Museo Artistico Politecnico” is the Multipurpose Museum Site created in the Territory by the “Fondazione Circolo Artistico Politecnico” to be an Open Operating Tool for the Territorial Community and beyond. Neapolitans, people from Campania, Italian and foreign tourists, researchers and scholars, students not only from art institutes find available to their cultural needs a Site equipped with a considerable cultural heritage, collected consistently and diligently over three centuries of history from the 1800s to today: about 600 paintings, 80 sculptures, 5500 photographs, 5000 volumes, thousands of documentary artifacts, musical instruments and period furnishings, reconstructing the history of Naples, Campania, and the South, transporting the visitor on an imaginative journey from the Belle Époque to the Contemporary era. Musap is the acronym created to correspond immediately to the needs imposed by a world that today travels more and more on the Internet and on Social Media. By using the acronym, the Foundation aims to be more easily accessible, attract the internet user more quickly, and improve its usability, offering the user, whoever it may be, a historical gem: a true "art and culture deposit, a unique space where hospitality and generosity are the key to living "By the rules of art".

The Foundation with its "Musap" offers itself to the City, to the Territory, to the Nation as a dynamic and vital organism, multifunctional and smart, a center of culture, art, and everything that aims to promote the intellectual and social well-being of the Community. Immersing oneself in the precious rooms of MUSAP, walking among stuccoes and crystal chandeliers is like diving into a world that has now passed, but whose vital sap has remained intact. Even today, in fact, it seems to hear the echo of the discussions that animated these environments and led it to become a heritage of the Community.

Close your eyes and you will find yourself in front of Eduardo Dalbono and Domenico Morelli discussing painting, participating in the creation of the masterpieces of Raffaele Viviani and Eduardo De Filippo, listening to the sweet notes of Giacomo Puccini and Francesco Cilea. It is in these rooms of Musap that brilliant minds have truly spent their time. With Musap, therefore, the Works of art and culture, collected in 133 years of history by the Members of the Foundation, are donated to the Public usability of the Territory to be admired in their original historical setting. In the themed rooms of the Museum, culture is breathed at every step. Here were born the first School of Dramatic Art in Naples, the Academy of Chess, the Stable Company of Prose, the Theater of the Young, and the Dance School.
