The MaM (Archaeological Museum of Monteriggioni) is located in the monumental complex of Abbadia Isola, the subject of progressive restoration and a new cultural center in the area.

The museum is "external-internal", that is, intended to tell the story of the abbey with special panels and open air valorisation elements, while the two exhibition areas (La tinaia and Sala Sigerico) narrate through reconstructions, models, multimedia supports, artefacts and paneling the events of the Monteriggio area in a journey back in time, from the Middle Ages to protohistory.

It is a museum in progress, destined to be enriched over time, with rotations of exhibits on display; also intended for continuous educational activities as well as carrying out research in the area.
