An exhibition that speaks of emotions, depth, and inner beauty.
There is surrealism indebted to the most lucid Magrittian paradoxes, but there is also expressionism, a direct lineage of Matisse's Fauvism. Some artists rework the lessons of the post-impressionists and cubists, while others stick to the classics and propose landscape views inspired by 19th-century painting and vedutismo. Walking through the gallery of the Museum of the House and immersing oneself in the paintings of Expressions of the Soul is a curious and stimulating journey for an art enthusiast. The exhibition, curated by Alessandro Merlo and Roberto Borra with the artistic direction of Alberto Bongini and Karina Lukasik, exploits the soft and decidedly open common thread of the human being who exposes themselves, expresses, creates, and tells their inner self to offer a miscellany of worlds and artistic experiences, all extremely different from each other.

"Expressions of the Soul" is the result of collaboration between the "Museum of the House" managed by Enrico Chebello and curated by Tatiana Eremina, with the Fly Art Association and Artists Pool of London. In total, over ninety works are visible on the museum walls, and there are also some special gems: some objects from the Valbormidese glass tradition, some sticks from the collection of Silvio Matteo Borsarelli, and two dresses belonging to the writer Carolina Invernizio, who spent her last years in Cuneo from 1914 to 1916. "Expressions of the Soul" will be open for visits until April 26, on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am to 7 pm.
