Prada Observatory is an exhibition space dedicated to photography and visual languages, located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. The Observatory is located on the fifth and sixth floors of the gallery designed by Giuseppe Mengoni. Thanks to the full restoration of the environment the top two levels of the gallery are now available. In fact, walking in the plane of the Observatory, one can observe the exterior of the dome of the gallery. The Observatory is a reference point for contemporary photography, constantly evolving and in connection with other historical artistic disciplines. Fondazione Prada, manager of the space agency, developed the fruition of photography in the digital age contemporary. The exhibition activity is one of the main Observatory, which has as its protagonist the Milan contemporary scene.
