CASVA (Centre for Advanced Studies on the Visual Arts)

The CASVA, Center for Advanced Studies on the Visual Arts , currently housed in the Castello Sforzesco, is a recently founded cultural institute of the Municipality of Milan . Established, in fact, in 1999, it began operating in 2002.

Over time it has taken the form of an "archive of archives of architects" who have operated essentially on Lombard soil, becoming a center of studies relating to architecture, design, graphics, the figurative arts and the visual arts as a whole, with particular attention to the cultural phenomena which have progressively shaped our society since the early years of the twentieth century.
