Archivio Atelier Pharaildis Van den Broeck is pleased to present PROJECT ROOM # 6 in which Claudia Losi will be the protagonist with a project created ad hoc by Emiliano Biondelli open to the public from 7 February to 3 April 2022 at the headquarters in Via Marco Antonio Bragadino 2 in Milan.

Claudia Losi, together with Emiliano Biondelli, began her research in the archive starting from a series of works by Pharaildis Van den Broeck from 2013 , paintings depicting onions . The intervention will be a reflection on the concept of the flag, a sculptural element that is changeable and permeable to space but also a sign of a group of people gathered to carry out a concerted action. The banner is also reminiscent of a sail that transports visitors on a metaphorical journey into the intimate world of Pharaildis Van den Broeck . The archive becomes a place of passage where the symbols of a rite of care materialize, the narrations and desires of the artist to whom the space is dedicated.

On the occasion of Project Room # 6, the sixth issue of the poster-leaflet will be published, an independent and complementary publication with a text by Emiliano Biondelli and Claudia Losi. In continuity with the Project Room program started in 2019, once again this year the opening project of the Atelier Pharaildis Van den Broeck Archive, conceived and coordinated by the curator of the archive Barbara Garatti, aims on the one hand to enhance and make known the 'the work of Pharaildis Van Den Broeck and on the other hand to promote new methods of research and production of contemporary visual art, in continuity with the mission of the Archive Committee Atelier Pharaildis Van den Broeck which includes Michele Sagramoso, Paola Richetti, Barbara Garatti, Anna Daneri and Cesarina Meda.
