This personal exhibition by the photographer and artist Lara Zibret at Manifiesto Blanco – curated by Massimiliano Bisazza - focuses on the presence-absence of the human being within architectural spaces and non-places, where everything is possible but above all where there is beauty, narrated through urban stories and accounts often conflicting with each other, yet always true and introspective. Digital photography is the offspring of that daguerreotype from which everything unfolds, and it tells of cities in Italy, New York, or Japan, where man is almost entirely absent, as his "absence" within Zibret's works is the true anthropological investigation that the photographer wants to conduct.

A series of black and white shots where a precise order reigns, giving symmetry to the entire scenic structure of the photograph in a completely spontaneous and personal way. Lara's lens, particularly sensitive to architectural themes, can capture and convey references ranging from minimalism to brutalism: styles and themes chosen with great care to capture the attention even of the most experienced in the field of photography.

The exhibited works summarize in a tautological way the essence of the artist, captured in fleeting and ephemeral moments; in those precise moments when time stops, remaining suspended in moments of timelessness, where everything is immobile in a perfectly perpendicular manner.

Lara Zibret, born in '83, obtained a Master's Degree in Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. She is a photographer by passion and profession, reflecting with sensitivity on the potential of the image, on its presence within the urban environment in which she lives and works, and from which she is surrounded, drawing inspiration from it, investigating and capturing the beauty that is often hidden from an unprepared eye.

She currently works for Fashink Architecture Magazine and previously with RedBull "Wooden Energy station".

Since 2004, she has been exhibiting regularly in Italy and abroad.
