The Museo del Novecento presents "Ritratto di città (20/20.000Hz)", a project by MASBEDO (Iacopo Bedogni and Niccolò Massazza) curated by Cloe Piccoli, which was born from the artists' participation in the Italian Council XI call for tenders from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. "Portrait of the City", a large multi-channel audio-video installation, talks about the cultural rebirth of Milan: from the electronic music of the RAI Phonology Studio, from the inventions of Luciano Berio and Bruno Maderna, the gaze broadens to architecture, (BBPR), to art (Lucio Fontana), to cinema (Michelangelo Antonioni), to graphics.

The story crosses eras and disciplines and reaches the contemporary, putting innovation, vision and the democratic spirit of Milan at the center. The exhibition is among the events of Milan Art Week (8 - 14 April 2024), the widespread event coordinated by the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with miart, the modern and contemporary art fair of Milan, which brings together the main public and private institutions, with a program full of activities and projects, enriching the cultural panorama of the city with collateral events that reconfirm Milan as a place privileged for the exploration and investigation of contemporary languages.
