At the ADI Design Museum an exhibition entirely dedicated to under-35 designers and their attempt to grasp the challenges of the global moment, curated by Angela Rui.

The problems faced by this global moment and the continuous ecological and social transformations constitute the starting point of the works of the young Italian designers presented by Italy: A New Collective Landscape. Produced by the ADI Design Museum, the exhibition is curated by Angela Rui with Elisabetta Donati de Conti and Matilde Losi, the graphic design by Alice Zani with Paola Bombelli and the layout by the Parasite 2.0 studio.

At the MoMA in New York in 1972, the exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, curated by Emilio Ambasz, presented the reflections of a community of young designers as a cultural manifestation of a counter-reform that questioned living and production. Today designers act with environmental responsibility and radical freedom, imagining how the transformations of external reality can have an impact on living, which can be extended to urban and non-urban space, to social relationships and symbiotic alliances, to new behaviours.

The protagonists of the ADI Design Museum exhibition are the young designers under 35, whose works were also selected through an open call in which more than three hundred participated. The decision to give space to the designers of this generation is in line with the need to give development opportunities to their work, to highlight its quality to the business world and to present an overall vision of the multifaceted practices of contemporary designers.
