Merano Arte hosts the first exhibition in an institutional space of Studio Other Spaces (SOS). SOS was founded in 2014 in Berlin by the Danish artist Olafur Eliasson and the German architect Sebastian Behmann with the aim of combining art and architecture starting from an experimental and interdisciplinary approach.

The in-depth research and the conscious use of the spaces and resources that characterize the studio will be illustrated through a series of projects, prototype models and objects. In particular, for Merano Arte SOS has specially formulated a new, sustainable and current form of presentation, which rethinks the exhibition methods traditionally dedicated to architecture .

The exhibition is divided into three sections, all dedicated to the theme of collaboration: a digital archive will allow visitors, through VR projections, to virtually move within the environments and outdoor spaces of the Meles Zenawi Memorial Park in Addis Ababa (2013-2020 ), a project born from the collaboration between Berlin and the Ethiopian capital.
