Given the great success, the exhibition "Diabolik: Enigma at the Palazzo Lanfranchi Museum" curated by Giulio Giordano and Salvatore Cuffari, promoted by the Matera Film Festival , in collaboration with the National Museum of Matera and the Astorina publishing house .

Sixty years after the release of the comic born from the creative genius of the sisters Angela and Luciana Giussani , the exhibition, exhibited in the Museum of Palazzo Lanfranchi , celebrates Diabolik with an exhibition of the original Graphic Novel plates taken from the Manetti Bros film.

The first film "Diabolik" by the Manetti Bros is freely inspired by the third episode of the saga released in 1963 , in which the first meeting between Eva Kant and Diabolik was narrated . Not a linear transposition from comic strips to cinema, but an interpretation enriched with new scenes, settings and dialogues, which therefore deserved, in turn, to become a comic story thus closing a perfect circle and passing from paper to film and from film to paper.
