The Zeitgeschichtliche Forum Leipzig is a Leipzig museum dealing with the history of German division, everyday life in the communist dictatorship of the GDR and the reunification process, as well as the challenges that reunified Germany is facing in the 21st century. In an exhibition area of 2000 square meters, the museum's collection consists of 2000 objects, photos and videos, as well as numerous interviews with contemporary witnesses illustrating recent German history. The museum also organizes numerous temporary exhibitions.
