Ancient noble residence of the Marquises Colocci-Vespucci, built in the second half of the 16th century.
The furniture, objects, and numerous paintings that furnish the different rooms allow you to discover the lifestyle of one of the most important aristocratic families in Jesi. In 1984, the Municipal Administration acquired a large part of Palazzo Colocci together with the furnishings and the historical archive of the noble Jesi Family. The charm of the Museum, named after Adriano Colocci, lies in its being more of a home than a museum. Inside the display cases and on the consoles, work tools, knick-knacks, family memories in a disorderly chronological arrangement are therefore gathered. The pieces that make up the furnishings are predominantly for representation; in particular, the choice of paintings responds to the needs of devotion or exaltation of the lineage.
