The Museum of Cider is a museum in Hereford, England, about the history of cider. The museum is located in what was once a cider factory in Pomona Place. Here Henry Percival Bulmer began making his cider cider in 1887. A tour of the museum provides a better understanding of the history of cider making: exhibits include a 300-year-old French Beam Press, a rare collection of English lead crystal cider glasses dating back to the 1730s and also a collection of watercolors depicting the different types of apples and pears grown. The cellars can also be visited with a cooper's workshop, the tub and the bottling line. The Museum organizes an annual program of events that includes lectures, art exhibitions and major events such as the International Cider and Perry Competition and the Cider Making Festival.
