The Bach Museum is a Hamburg museum dedicated to the composer Bach. It is one of the six museums of the so-called KomponistenQuartier, a union of six museums along the Peterstraße, dedicated to famous composers who have spent parts of their lives in Hamburg. Opened in 2015, the museum offers an overview of the environment in which Bach grew up. Information is provided on the particularities of his music and the influence it had on the society of his time. Audio stations also allow you to accompany the visit by listening to the composer's music. The museum's setting has been reconstructed to offer the characteristics typical of the Bach era. In the center of the main room is a harpsichord, the musician's favorite instrument.
