Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum is a Dutch museum in the town of Groninger. It is based in the two most beautiful medieval buildings in the city: the Canter House and the Gothic House.

In the museum you can discover the history of navigation in the Northern Netherlands along with that of these two beautiful buildings.

In addition, the historical exhibits change throughout the year.

The Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum has the ambition, for the foreseeable future, to become the museum on the history of the city and province of Groningen , with a historical meeting place and as a training company for the students of Noorderpoort.
