At the GRID Grafisch Museum in Groningen it is possible to admire the graphic heritage of what has always been considered the most important city in North Holland, known since 1900 for
the printing presses that were the greatest economic engine.
There were numerous suppliers in the province, such as cardboard and paper factories, type foundries, printing blocks and bookbinders. In addition, there were also many publishers and bookstores that had a successful existence until the twentieth century.
