The Molteni Museum was founded in 2015, year of the Expo in Milan, to celebrate 80 years of history, innovation and research in the promotion and enhancement of the design. The location of the museum is located in Giussano, the province of Monza Brianza, which is considered the furniture district thanks to the nearby presence of Milan. The headquarters of the Museum bears witness to and enhances the company's history in the '50s and then restored in 1986 by Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda. Designed by Jasper Morrison Museum houses a collection of 48 products, as well as icons of the original prototypes of companies in the Molteni Group. The goal of the museum is to tell the history of Italian industry, founded in 1934 by Angelo and Giuseppina Molteni, which develops from the '50s with the collaboration of architects and Italian and international designers. The works on display represent the elegance and refinement typical of the Molteni brand.
