From Saturday 30 October to Sunday 30 January 2022 as part of the exhibition "Scambi ad Arte" the work of Pellizza da Volpedo "Love in life" belonging to the collections of the GAM - Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin will be exhibited at the Civic Museum of San Domenico.

“Scambi ad Arte” is a new cultural production of the Municipal Administration of Forlì which represents the natural landing place of the national and international policy of loans of works of art that involves large museums and cultural institutions, including the Civic Museums of Forlì.

This initiative is based on the temporary reception of a masterpiece from an important museum institution at our Civic Museums in correspondence with an art loan addressed to the same institution.

In this regard, a new exhibition has been created inside the San Domenico Museum in an area specifically dedicated to this event.

The first appointment of this new exhibition is dedicated to the exchange of works of art with the GAM - Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin - Guido and Ettore De Fornaris Foundation.

Giovanni Fattori's work entitled "Buoi al carro (The red cart)", owned by the Municipality of Forlì and belonging to the Pedriali Collection, is exhibited until 20 March 2022 at the GAM in Turin, within the exhibition itinerary of the exhibition “FACTORS. Masterpieces and openings on the 1900s ”by Virginia Bertone and Silvestra Bietoletti.

The work by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, central panel of L'Amore nella Vita, belonging to the collections of the GAM - Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin, is exhibited at the San Domenico Civic Museum from 30 October 2021 to 30 January 2022 and can be visited during the opening hours of the museum, included in the entrance ticket. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.
