Next to the Parish Church, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin, stands the chaplain's house, the Chià dul Caplan, a sturdy construction dating back to 1607, as indicated by the inscription on the architrave. In recent years this building has undergone a careful restoration to which the Parish of Croveo and the Municipal Administrations of Baceno have dedicated themselves. A significant contribution, both financially and in the preparation work, was provided by the "Costume Group" of Baceno. Another important contribution came from the project "CoEUR, - in the heart of the paths of Europe, the path that unites", an Interreg project conceived at an international level, which intends to connect to the main paths of Europe (Via Francigena, Camino de Santiago di Compostela) the tourist-devotional and various spirituality paths of the Italian and Swiss cross-border territories, financing the recovery of significant places, buildings and paths. The building has thus become the seat of a museum dedicated to sacred art and peasant civilization On 19 July 2015 the Casa del Cappellano was inaugurated and named after Don Amedeo Ruscetta, the "viper priest".
