The MACK - Crotone Contemporary Art Museum is located in the historic center of the city. The Museum has been housed in the Barracco Palace since 2008, the year of its inauguration. Previously set up in the halls of the nineteenth-century Fonte - Calojro building, the museum remained closed for several years until the new display. The museum was born with the need to document and enhance the works of contemporary Italian art from the Second World War to the present day. The museum is divided into 10 exhibition rooms on two floors in which he develops his collection. The collection includes famous artists all over the world, such as: Carla Accardi, Mimmo Rotella, Nicola Carrino, Giuseppe Uncini, Vettor Pisani, Hidetoshi Nagasawa, Bruno Ceccobelli, Claudio Verna, Nino Longobardi, Alfredo Pirri, Serafino Maiorano, Ascanio Renda, Ferdinando Fedele, Alighiero Boetti and many others.
