Palazzo Platamone (Palace of Culture) is located in Via Vittorio Emanuele II in Catania, behind the Cathedral, testimony of late medieval and Renaissance architecture, owes its name to the Platamone family, one of the most illustrious families of Catania in the fifteenth century.
