The Frac Normandie Caen (Regional Fund for Contemporary Art Normandy Caen) is a museum and exhibition space in Caen dedicated to contemporary art.
The Fracs are institutions created in the early 1980s with the aim of creating public collections of contemporary art, disseminating them, and creating new forms of art dissemination. Today, each French region has its own Frac.
Its collection consists of over 1200 works and includes around 500 French and international artists, and continues to grow each year through new acquisitions. History and contemporary society are constantly questioned through works of various genres (photographs, sculptures, paintings, videos, installations).
