The MAST Foundation, founded in Bologna in 2013, is located next to the headquarters of the Coesia industrial group (which is also a founding member), in a multifunctional complex intended for the company's collaborators but also open to the community, and is configured as a new experiment of integration between business and society .

Inside the Innovation Gallery, a space that tells about industry and work with interactive technological exhibits and video art interventions and the Photo Gallery, an exhibition space that hosts temporary exhibitions of photography of industry and work, taken from its own collection or from other archives, international institutions and private collections.

The exhibitions are accompanied by a program of talks, meetings with authors and other personalities from the world of photography, screenings, performances, editorial presentations that take place in the Auditorium. Furthermore, the MAST Foundation produces, organizes and promotes Foto / Industria, a biennial exhibition of photography of industry and work, with exhibitions set up , as well as at MAST, also in the center of Bologna, in historical places, public institutions and private spaces of the city.
