The MUSEUM - Observatory of Contemporary Art in Sicily is located in the city of Bagheria in the province of Palermo. the Museum was founded in 1997 to collect and enhance the works of contemporary art kept inside. The Museum was founded by Ezio Pagano and is responsible for promoting dissemination activities thanks to collaborations with the Universities of Siena and Palermo. The Museum firmly believes in relations with the outside world and with international artists. In fact, since its foundation it has accumulated experiences and relationships with the United States, South America, North Africa, China and Australia. The museum houses a collection of works by famous artists, such as: Emilio Isgrò, Augusto Perez, Antonio Sanfilippo, Salvatore Scarpitta, Pietro Consagra, Piero Guccione, Carla Accardi and Renato Guttuso. The Museum hosts temporary exhibitions and meetings with a focus on contemporary art and its developments.
