Domenico Quirico's exhibition traces the five years of war that involved Aleppo from 2011 to 2016. Through a multimedia exhibition, the visitor is immersed in the reality of the Syrian city, represented by the voices of actors who narrate moments of dramatic everyday life. The exhibition itinerary becomes a direct experience: the visitor becomes aware of the abyss into which Aleppo has fallen, a thousand-year-old city whose historic center was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
