Raffaella Baldassarre's work is made up of multiple elements, some of which are exhibited in the Sanatorium exhibition at NICE & FAIR 2021. The individual elements appear as containers of a malaise that is objectified and put "under glass"; the vial, usually associated with medicine and treatment, now contains the discomforts of a reality that does not heal but on the contrary isolates, in an invisible condition of suffering of the body and psyche.

The work il postodellecose was born as an installation on the ground, that same land on which today people pray, lie, hide, count the fallen and the consequences of the war. Bottles are like men, with a bust, a head and a vulnerability evoked by the use of a fragile material like glass. The choice to place everything on the ground represents the exposure of man to danger: a simple impact that can destabilize the delicate composition now appears as the unpredictable attack on the fleeting human stability, making the spectator at the same time a user but also a threat.
