The work is a vegetal exoskeleton of an ancestral creature belonging to a hypothetical past or a dystopian future, inspired by the myth of Aristophanes' androgyne, a spherical, complete and extremely powerful child of the moon, feared by the gods, and a nocturnal plant capable of altering states of consciousness and granting access, for some shamanic cultures, to the divine. Its two skulls are facing inwards, in an eternal exchange of gazes, opposite to the symbolism of the two-faced Janus.
