The elegant design of Mario Bellini and Alessandro Chiarato wants to differentiate the Olivetti product from the others, in a highly competitive market, and attract a new audience. Released in 1987, ETP 55 has in fact a completely innovative character: the color no longer black and the articulated shapes underline the most modern technology, giving the car an almost "sporty" appearance. ETP 55 is one of the many Olivetti products exhibited in the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.
