Established in Ivrea in 1998 at the initiative of Olivetti Company, in agreement with the Adriano Olivetti Foundation and with the participation of important public and private partners, the Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti carries out activities of collecting, organizing, preserving, studying, and enhancing the documentary heritage related to the history of the Company and the personalities of the Olivetti Family. 

The heritage, consisting of documents, letters, publications, posters, drawings, photographs, films, and products, is the subject of systematic archival description work and progressive digitization. 

The Association's activities include providing advice to scholars and researchers, collaborating on cultural initiatives of private and public entities, curating a permanent exhibition at its headquarters, organizing exhibitions, events, conferences, and publications aimed at promoting and deepening the knowledge of Olivetti's history and values. 

To offer the public ever new tools for the discovery and sharing of the successes of Olivetti's #HistoryOfInnovation, the Association is engaged in daily digital storytelling on major social networks, creating multimedia thematic paths on the website StoriaOlivetti.it, and implementing Archivi Digitali Olivetti, a free online platform that is constantly updated and already contains over 400,000 archival records of the preserved documentary heritage.
