The Musée Pincé is a museum in Angers. It is located in a Renaissance building classified as a historical monument in 1875. The building was built between 1528 and 1529 for Jean de Pincé, lord of Bois de Savigné.
The museum is an invitation to distant lands, thanks to some fascinating collections donated to the museum. On the ground floor, an exhibition with a theme that changes every year highlights the varied and rich variety of the collections housed in all of Angers' museums. The first floor is dedicated to five civilizations: ancient Greece and ancient Rome, the Egyptians, pre-Columbian art, Chinese and Japanese art.
