The Ocean Race Museum is one of the museums in the city of Alicante, Spain, dedicated to the world of sailing. Alicante is, in fact, a very important sailing center at the international level. The museum, inaugurated in 2012, aims to share and disseminate the heritage of the history of the regatta, as well as the technological innovation, commitment and challenges that lie behind it. The museum is located in the former maritime station of the port of Alicante.

The visit also includes Race Control, an innovative technology center that uses the latest satellite communications and is the place where boats are monitored during the competition.

The Ocean Race Museum is the first in the world to offer visitors the opportunity to get to know firsthand the challenges of the sailors of the Volvo Ocean Race, the longest and most challenging sailing event on the planet that has its operational base in the city of Alicante. The museum offers an educational program with different didactic activities for schools and adults, obviously focusing on the values of life at sea, sailing and sport through different activities for schools and for the general public.
