The Ethnographic Museum of Aquilonia, in the province of Avellino, was founded in 1997. The Museum was built on the will of Professor Beniamino Tartaglia, to whom it was dedicated. The museum was born thanks to donations from citizens starting from the 80s and 90s. The Museum is divided into different thematic areas that are based on the history of the territory: each section develops the ancient works that were practiced throughout history. The preparation of the exhibition space dedicated to the theme of food education within the City of Science is a workhorse of the Museum. In addition, the museum hosts cultural events, temporary exhibitions and educational activities aimed at involving families and children.
