Hartlebury Castle tells the past through a set of rooms and real historical objects thanks to which you can discover what life was like for our ancestors: from costumes to gypsy caravans, from archeology to toys.

At Hartlebury Castle visitors can explore the castle rooms, stroll along the restored Long Gallery and admire the talking portraits, follow in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth I, King George III and Queen Charlotte.

In the galleries of the County Museum, housed in the north wing of the former Bishops' House of Worcester inside Hartlebury Castle, you can delve into social history or admire the toys of the time, archaeological finds that tell the story of Worcestershire's past. Inside the park you can visit the Cider Mill and the Transport Gallery which houses a fascinating array of vehicles including a fire engine, carriages, bicycles, wagons and a large collection of beautifully decorated Gypsy caravans. Hartlebury Castle also hosts events throughout the year.
