Exhibition project curated by Caterina Toso, glass historian and heir of the Fratelli Toso Archive, dedicated to retracing Murano decade after decade in what it was in the last century: a forge of ideas, art, innovation, extraordinary production hub and commercial on an international scale. Glass and Design. The creative process in the historic Murano glass factories of the 1900s investigates the close link that unites the world of design with that of glass through over 50 artistic glasses made between the 10s and 80s of the twentieth century. The works, all original glass, come from important Italian and foreign private collections.
