Leonor Antunes (Lisbon, 1972) works through traditional and artisanal techniques, reinterprets the history of art, design and architecture of the twentieth century; His project for the Portuguese Pavilion focuses precisely on these themes, which will focus precisely on the city of Venice: "the starting point of the exhibition is Antunes' significant research on key figures in the cultural history of Venice, such as architects and designers Carlo Scarpa, Franco Albini and Franca Helg , as well as the legacies of Savina Masieri and the architecture of Egle Trincanato , both active in the city after the war ”, explains the official press.
