CRIPTA747 is a non-profit organization for contemporary art founded in Turin in 2008.
CRIPTA747 operates at the intersection between artistic practices and cultural debates, offering an annual program of exhibitions, residencies, publications and internal and external events to the exhibition venue. CRIPTA747 follows all aspects of production with particular attention to the research phase that leads to the elaboration of the work.
CRIPTA747 offers artists a workspace in a context open to dialogue and exchange between visual arts and other expressive languages. The projects carried out over the years have brought to Turin a new way to tell the evolution of contemporary realities, through first exhibitions of emerging artists, important historical figures and group exhibitions relevant to the current debate. This cultural policy has made CRIPTA747 an exchange platform open to the outside world and to collaborations with Italian and international realities of a similar nature.
