Accepted the Artsupp Card
In the month of May 2020 , in the midst of the health emergency, the Photo Action project for Turin 2020 was launched, the call to the arts conceived by photographers Guido Harari and Paolo Ranzani together with Wall Of Sound Gallery: an invitation to some of the greatest Italian and international photographers to donate one of their works to support together the project of a Covid-19 Extraordinary Fund created by the UGI Onlus Association. More than 100 photographers took part in the appeal and made one of their images available to the project free of charge, proposed for the occasion for a symbolic sum of 100 Euros. Today, five months after the launch of the initiative, the fund has reached a record figure of 70,100 euros.
The GAM of Turin is proud to support and contribute to the project, hosting the works of Photo Action for Turin 2020 for three months in the Wunderkammer space.
Visitors, including Museum Subscription holders, with a symbolic ticket of 1 Euro will be able to visit an exhibition that reflects the state of the art of Italian and international photography and at the same time support the cause.
The entire proceeds from the ticket office will in fact be donated to the UGI ONLUS Association, as well as the proceeds from the sale of the catalogs. Furthermore, during the period of the exhibition it will be possible to buy the 105 prints on display - a single piece, a single print per image - in the 30x42cm format. by booking them on the website https://www.photoactionpertorino.org at the sum of 300 Euros per photograph, also in this case entirely devolved.
