The "Intruder" is an artist or a curator invited to engage in dialogue with the exhibitions and collections of the GAM in each Resonance. His "intrusion" is crucial in every rearrangement of the collections and in reactivating interpretative trajectories or reassuring chronological paths.

The artist invited to take on the role of Intruder for this Third Resonance is Davide Sgambaro. His research unfolds in a tension between enchantment and disquiet: at first glance, his works display a playful and colorful aesthetic, with materials and forms that evoke playful imaginaries, lively and poetic gestures. However, with a closer and more reflective look, the objects, habits, and gestures of a disenchanted youth found in his works, permeated by a tragicomic atmosphere, become keys to delicately and surprisingly investigate the generational trauma. In the interior spaces of the GAM, Sgambaro will present two works: the first in a passageway on the first floor, while the other will occupy the Rest Room on the second floor. Furthermore, during the opening evening on October 28, with a repeat on November 28, Davide Sgambaro will propose a performance in the outdoor spaces, involving the museum's unique architecture.
