The show

On 1 October 2020 , in the Project Room of CAMERA - Italian Center for Photography , it will be inaugurated 1965-1990. Gianni Berengo Gardin and Olivetti , an exhibition dedicated by the Turin institution and the Olivetti Historical Archive Association, with the collaboration of the Civic Museum PA Garda in Ivrea, to the work of one of the most important / famous Italian photographers: Gianni Berengo Gardin (Santa Margherita Ligure, 1930).

Curated by Margherita Naim and Giangavino Pazzola, the exhibition project highlights the intensity of the professional relationship between the photographer and the Ivrea-based company , through a careful selection of more than 70 black and white vintage photographs, publications and others. archival documents rethought according to a curatorial choice that outlines two nuclei: a formal one that investigates the theme of the value of the architectural project (industrial, residential, social, etc.); a second that more explicitly translates a social system of relationships inside and outside the factory.
