From April 17, 2025, the exhibition "FROM BOTTICELLI TO MUCHA. Beauty, Nature, Seduction" opens to the public in the Chiablese Rooms of the Royal Museums of Turin, a journey into seduction and beauty expressed through myth, nature, and the female universe, always the main subjects of artistic creation.

With over 100 works including paintings, drawings, ancient sculptures, and art objects from the Royal Museums of Turin, the Uffizi Galleries, and many other prestigious institutions, the exhibition ranges from magnificent statues and archaeological bas-reliefs from the Roman era, through Botticelli and Lorenzo di Credi - of which two incredible masterpieces are compared - continuing with Renaissance works;

an overview of themes that touch on myth, the allure of the ancient, nature, and the female universe, up to the beginning of the 20th century with the seduction of the works of Alphonse Mucha, master of Art Nouveau.

Among the masterpieces on display are Botticelli's Venus from the Sabauda Gallery and Luca Longhi's Lady with the Unicorn from Castel Sant'Angelo.

The exhibition also includes precious focuses on extraordinary female figures such as the Countess of Castiglione, an emblematic figure of the late 19th century, a noblewoman of rare beauty and a seductive secret agent, as well as princesses and queens of the House of Savoy. For the first time, the diagnostic investigations carried out on Botticelli's Venus will also be revealed, allowing the discovery of the artist's thoughts and reconsiderations.

Simultaneously, the guest of honor at the exhibition will be the splendid Maiden's Face, an autograph drawing by Leonardo da Vinci created between 1478 and about 1485, coming from the Royal Library and exhibited in the new Leonardo Space on the first floor of the Sabauda Gallery.
