At the dawn of the tenth edition of the Intensive Program in Visual Storytelling, CAMERA hosts in the Project Room the exhibition CAMERA meets ICP. A living archive. A visual story that from July 4 to September 14 offers a rich selection of photographic material created in past editions of the professional training program born in 2016 from the collaboration of CAMERA with the International Center of Photography (ICP) and which now includes over 10,000 photographs taken by 221 students from 34 countries around the world. ICP, the school founded by Cornell Capa in 1974 and home of the Infinity Awards since 1985, is the temple of international photography, where over the years authors who have become protagonists of the global photographic scene have studied and taught. The intensive program at CAMERA - which every year, in July, brings the ICP teachers and a large group of students from around the world to the city - represents a unique opportunity in Italy and Europe to train with the teachers of a school of excellence and deepen the language of contemporary documentary photography. In the exhibition CAMERA meets ICP. A living archive, a careful selection is presented among the over 10,000 photographs produced so far, which also constitute a true visual archive of the city of Turin, protagonist of the photographic projects of students coming not only from various areas of Italy, but also from the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Ukraine, Philippines, and Argentina.
