CAMERA - Italian Center for Photography inaugurates the 2023 autumn season with two major exhibitions in its headquarters in Turin and together, presenting itself to the public with a new look, the result of the important architectural renovation project underway in recent months, combined with the creation of an innovative, and unique in Italy, visual-tactile journey dedicated to the history of photography.
An evolution that fully fits into the development of CAMERA as a point of reference for the diffusion of photographic culture in Italy through exhibitions, meetings, educational activities, courses, to increase knowledge, stimulate discussion, raise questions and deepen the story of reality through images.
In line with its mission of disseminating photographic culture, CAMERA expands and proposes, at the same time as the exhibitions at the Turin headquarters, three other large exhibitions in as many Italian cities.
The protagonist in Turin is the great anthology dedicated to one of the absolute masters of 20th century photography, André Kertész, in the exhibition rooms of CAMERA, with over one hundred and fifty images that retrace the photographer's entire creative path.
