The photographic and documentary exhibition Natur Park Schöneberger Südgelände and Berlin urban nature, organized by the Benetton Foundation in the exhibition spaces of Palazzo Bomben , intends to tell, starting from the collective volume of the same name edited by Patrizia Boschiero, Thilo Folkerts, Luigi Latini, the place at the center of this edition of the Carlo Scarpa Prize, its key themes and its Berlin context, with reference to other public spaces that show with particular effectiveness the peculiarities of what can be defined as contemporary “Berlin urban nature”.

The exhibition itinerary is divided into four rooms, one of which is dedicated to the viewing of the documentary film made under the direction of Davide Gambino and to a story in pictures of the backstage of the documentary and of the study trip of this edition of the Award.

The other three rooms tell, in order, the reasons that led to the choice of the Natur Park Südgelände and the Berlin urban nature for the 32nd edition of the Carlo Scarpa Award; a look at other places connected in various ways to the history and ideas underlying the Natur Park Südgelände, in particular Grünes Band Berlin Schönholz, Park auf dem Nordbahnhof, Park am Gleisdreieck, Topographie des Terrors, Tempelhofer Feld, Landschaftspark Johannisthal / Adlershof and Hans- Baluschek-Park, The Institute of Ecology-Technische Universität Berlin, the gaze of Grün Berlin. An in-depth study of the history, ecological, planning, management and artistic aspects that distinguish Natur Park Südgelände.

The exhibition looks like a great work in progress, in which documents - photographs, writings, notes - are arranged in the form of a sort of storyboard to illustrate the place, the themes and its relations with the city.
