The Nicola Del Roscio Foundation , in collaboration with the Cy Twombly Foundation, presents from Saturday 20 May to Saturday 11 June 2022 , at the spaces of via Crispi 18, Un / veiled - Cy Twombly, Music, Inspirations : a multidisciplinary program of six evenings of live concerts, video projections, diffused music , which includes the exhibition of a series of works by Cy Twombly (1928–2011).

The prestigious calendar includes the involvement of internationally renowned musicians and artists: Harold Budd (selection of plays), Eraldo Bernocchi and Nils Petter Molvær, Petulia Mattioli (video projections) (live 20, 21 May 2022), Isabella Summers (27, 28 May 2022), Thierry Balasse (10, 11 June 2022), Devendra Banhart and Sudan Archives (performance documentation). Un / veiled - Cy Twombly, Music, Inspirations is the unprecedented result of an extensive survey conducted over the last three years by the Cy Twombly Foundation at the Rome and Gaeta offices at the behest of Nicola Del Roscio , aimed at collecting, documenting and to keep in its archives the musical compositions signed by international musicians who have been inspired or have tried to build an intimate dialogue with the works of Cy Twombly.

Single tracks taken from repertoires of different authors or, in some cases, entire albums have paid homage to the sensitivity of one of the most important artists of the twentieth century, demonstrating how authors from different disciplines have recognized an inexhaustible source of inspiration in the production of Cy Twombly. The result is a rich and surprising archive that brings together the works of fourteen musicians belonging to different musical genres, from jazz to classical music, passing to more experimental electronic experiences.
