On the occasion of the 150th anniversary celebration, the Real Academia de España in Rome renews its invitation to the annual PROCESSI 150 exhibition created by the artists and researchers in residence 2022 – 2023, which opens on Wednesday 28 June .

The exhibition was anticipated by the OPEN STUDIOS day in March – an event that has been held since 2016 – in which the public was involved in the realization of the creative process that flows into the final stage of the fellows' stay in Rome.

There are 23 residents of Rome: Ana Laura Aláez , Elvira Amor , Amelie Aranguren, Carla Boserman , Raquel Buj, Matías Candeira , Juan Antonio Espinosa , Marcelo Expósito , Fuentesal Arenillas , Hugo Gómez-Chao , David H. Falágan , Abel Jaramillo , Ana Mina, Manu Muniategiandikoetxea , Juan Pedro Navarro Martínez , Itziar Okariz , Mariana Orantes , Mabi Revuelta , Luz Santos Rodero , Pilar Serrano Betored , Sara Torres-Vega , Andrea Valdés , Gabriel Villota Toyos.

The activities developed range from the visual arts to literature and history, from architecture to fashion and music with a focus on the relationship with the capital and with Italian culture: from contemporary political revisions to a character to be rediscovered like Carla Lonzi, from the works gender to collaborative practices, from visual arts to music, from institutional culture to that produced in the neighborhoods of Rome and by civil society.
