Today, the institutional preview of the exhibition Mastroianni. Yesterday, Today, Always took place at Castel Sant'Angelo in the presence of the General Director of Museums Massimo Osanna, the President of the VII Culture, Science and Education Commission of the Chamber of Deputies Federico Mollicone, the President of Istituto Luce Cinecittà Chiara Sbarigia, and the curator Gian Luca Farinelli.

The exhibition will open to the public tomorrow, October 12th, until January 12th, 2025. The tribute exhibition on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of Marcello Mastroianni's birth, an official event of the nineteenth Rome Film Festival, is a must-see for all lovers of Italian cinema and fine art photography. It gathers an extraordinary collection of photographs that trace the career and life of the great legend of Italian cinema, one of the most iconic actors of our time and a symbol of the "Dolce Vita."

Promoted by the Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo Institute - National Museums Directorate of the City of Rome of the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition is curated by Gian Luca Farinelli, Director of the Bologna Film Library, with the sponsorship of the Lazio Region. It is organized by Civita Exhibitions and Museums in collaboration with the Cinema Foundation for Rome, Bologna Film Library, Historical Archive of Istituto Luce, SIAE Theater Museum Library, Experimental Cinematography Foundation, Rai Archives, and with the contribution of private archives.
